Beginning with Keynes General theory , Phillips curve interpretation of policy trade-off to New Classical and to New Keynesian school of thought, the subject Macroeconomics travel a long path. From adhoc macroeconomics model to representative household in general equilibrium framework , methodologically the subject evolved tremendously. It will be great to find books or articles which capture the journey from the perspective of thought.

What is the mechanism for an ionic exchange reaction between two ion pairs?
I confirmed that the following reaction can be proceeded in water.
[Tetrabutylphosphonium][bromide] + [Sodium][p-styrenesulfonate] -> [Tetrabutylphosphonium][p-styrenesulfonate] + [Sodium][bromide]
I cannot understand what makes this reaction possible.
Is this reaction can be interpreted with HSAB theory?
Many scholars are now a days considering making their research available in preprints before publication with journals and/or books. This helps preserve intellectual ownership as well as quickly getting citations of work.
Citing preprints seem to be different than citing journal articles/books. So, what is the appropriate way to cite preprints?
I am looking for books or articles about the theories in games and digital games. It can be better if there are studies in review type.
I'm trying to estimate a minimum sample size and I'm reading Kline's book on structural equation modeling, where he references the N:Q ratio:
"In ML estimation, Jackson (2003) suggested that researchers think about minimum sample size in terms of the ratio of cases (N) to the number of model parameters that require statistical estimates (q)"
I have my model set up in AMOS and it shows the parameters for the weights, covariances, and variances. I understand where they come from, but I'm confused about how to use the N:Q rule because Kline says that its the parameters that require statistical estimates. Does this mean the parameters that I am interested in for my prediction (i.e. the weights and/or covariances) ? Or does it mean the parameters that the entire statistical model requires to make an estimate of fit (i.e. weights + covariances + variances)?
Thanks so much in advance!
There are many types of interactions and i am looking for resources to study them and tools that could be used to test them.

I conduct a research related to the nexus of nationalist groups and organized crime in Turkey. I will try to focus on the aims and roots (state, gladio or other factors as organized crime ) of the nationalist groups.
Whenever we start a new research we need first to do literature review in order to both get acquainted with the context and the concepts related to our research and also to situate our research within the existing knowledge.
- The problem is that in order to find relevant literature you need to express what you are looking for into meaningful search terms and the more efficient and robust you make your "search string" (aka the keywords you use) the better you will express your information need and find relevant reference. E.g. If someone is looking for "text classification for categorising books" is better to word it as "book genre identification".
Do you got any techniques that you developed through the years on how do find the perfect wording for your initial literature search? Myself, for example, I try to find first an initial paper that is relevant and the browse through its cited papers to see if there is any paper that describes in their title in a better way what I am looking for.
I have noticed that there are a few companies, which are selling awards for research scholars and professors. For example, I often receive such emails (mentioned below) from different companies. What is your opinion on this?

Data Science has evolved as a new branch of knowledge. Some people define it as applied statistics whereas others define it as an umbrella under which several existing interrelated branches have been grouped together. Being a recent topic, we may find edited volumes and obviously several papers. But, do we have standard fundamental books on this topic. This is essential as when we frame a syllabus, it is highly mandatory to provide some books as text, which cover most of the contents of the syllabus.
I would like to have single source text books or multiple text books covering the entire branch of knowledge.
I am trying to upload a 7 Mb PDF paper and I get an error message. I have some other research printed as book chapters, which I have scanned. This PDF files weigh over 10 Mb. I wonder if there are size limits for uploading research. I have been unable to find this information elsewhere in this website.
So far i found these two books which use R programming to describe forest calculations.
1) Robinson and Hamann2011, "Forest Analytics With R"
2) Mehtatalo and Lappi 2020, "Biometry For Forestry And Environmental Data"
Please let me know some other books which you know.
I am looking to model a composite in ABAQUS in which the condition required is Generalized Plane - Strain. I'd be Glad if someone could show me a book or a paper as a guide to teach me adequately for modeling.
what I am interested is when a composite or any kind of material subjected to kind of loading that in two directions can displace easily but the third direction (in contrast with Plane Strain) displacements or Strains are not zero but a constant value.
I'm making a series of numerical simulations which the response is a curve of a determined variable along time, for exemple, y(t).
Basically, I have 5 parameters of control which I need to vary to obtain an response on my response variable. For exemple, I need to test three different particle diamenter and three different Reynolds number and obtain 6 curves to my response variable, which is a curve in the form y(t), which t is time.
I know that experiment design can help me with it. But I do not understand how can I correlate a curve as a function of time, and not an specific value. Most book exemples I was able to find correlate an specific value and I was not able to extrapolate from that.
Not sure if I was clear enough, but can someone help me with that?
I'm looking for a recommendation to study Functional Principle component analysis in a detailed manner.
Can we use a generalized gamma linear mixed model to model score variances of the FPCA?
What are the conditions we need to consider before applying the generalized gamma linear mixed model?
I'm writing a chapter re the promise and challenges of use of free online Open Ed Resources (OER) for a forthcoming book (due late 2022) about informal science/STEM learning, both K-12, higher ed and lifelong learning. If anyone has done ed/learning research
on the use of games of any kind (board games, RPG, video and online games, etc) on improving STEM learning, please email me
offlist: [email protected] and I can then forward to the two editors of this book.
Or if others want to contribute to this discussion, please do so.
This was catalyzed by my discovering how much of a community has been playing the board game, Pandemic, over the past 1-2 years...and how effective this and other games are:

One of the most common methods is to submit the manuscript to an editorial (i.e. Springer, Elsevier, etc.). However, what if you want to publish a thesis in a book/chapter book or if you have a large study with an interesting/different approach? What would be the best alternative?
I would appreciate it if someone could give some options (in English or Spanish), indexes, (perhaps price), and an estimate of waiting times.
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Postcolonialism and wanted to get more texts related to the same topic with respect to what it has done to the Culture, Society and the Environment in India.
Please advise good books/articles/videos I can read to learn about neural networks (CNN) from basics and how to use it for text classification, along with python code explanation.
I just start work on evaporative crystallization. I tried Mullin's book but it does not seem include a lot about evaporative crystallization. Can anyone help me with recommending other books?
Dear Fellow Researcher,
I am trying to compile former research and records of Indonesian Architecture into a book. It will be too ambitious for me to collect all the tribes with distinct architecture. However, the progress has gone a long way so there's no reason to stop. We required some records, preferably which includes description or pictures of the vernacular building in Irian and Maluku prior to 1900s. Any contribution will be mentioned in acknowledgement. I will appreciate all the help. Thank you.
Can you suggest where can I find video lectures on turbulent flows or turbulence modelling? Are there any video lectures on understanding turbulence modeling? Or any books to understand turbulence modelling? Can someone please help!
i have a project on how different turbulent models can be used on Naca aerofoil. and i am not knowing how to find material to understand turbulent flows.
For computational methods in FEA/FVM and Partial DIff Eqn's using C++.
Also, some guidance with the learning path (how to get along) will be appreciated.
Dear Research Gate community,
I would like to forecast financial time series as well as energy time series (ideally natural gas).
Can you suggests books and/or papers regarding forecasting in practice?
Since I have to buy the books on my own it would be nice if you would take the cost-benefit ratio into account.
Thank you in advance.
The criticize a published book requires mastery of the subject, analysis and thorough evaluation. Revealing the positive and negative parts of the study with their arguments can make us believe that a criticism has been made. Writing down what authors are in a multi-part book and what their titles are is not a book review. This is just an endeavor equivalent to making a list of "index". Also, the other problem is this: While writing reviews for books with multiple authors to exclude some parts without any selection criteria. What do you think about these issues?
As the title says, I need help with finding articles/books that are available. I am having trouble finding articles on this matter.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
